After the long Thanksgiving holiday, we are back for another week of Frugal Friday!! I don’t know about you, but this is becoming a really fun habit for me! I can’t wait to see what great money-saving ideas will be linked up this week!
My kids are older now, but when they were all a bit smaller we developed a tradition that we still remember fondly. It was a year when there just wasn’t that much money for Christmas — but we found a way to celebrate that was inexpensive and fun and taught my kids more than just giving them gifts under the tree would have. Our Dollar Store Christmas became a yearly event for several years after. Maybe it’s an idea for your own family to try this year!
(Now that I think about it, I wonder if I should bring the tradition back this year. Wouldn’t it be fun to see what the teens and college kids would buy each other?? 🙂 )
